Ducati V21L Electric Motorcycle Gets Tested on the Track, Set to Compete in 2023 MotoE World Cup

The Ducati V21L, also known as the company’s ‘MotoE project’, is an electric motorcycle that will compete in the 2023 FIM MotoE World Cup. Weighing in at 496-pounds, its electric powertrain generates 148 hp and 103 lb-ft of torque, complete with liquid cooling for both the battery as well as motor, while topping out at 171 mph.

For those interested in the technical specifications, the battery pack weighs 242-pounds and boasts a capacity of 18 kWh with a 20-kW charging socket integrated into the tail. Inside the battery, there are 1,152 cylindrical ‘21700’ cells. Other features include an Öhlins NPX 25/30 pressurized fork, an Öhlins TTX36 shock absorber, and Brembo brakes.
