    It sometimes happens that a spec script hits the Hollywood market and generates a flurry of interest. Such is the case with Sophie Fleur de Bruijn’s ‘One Month Mark,’ a rom-com that on its surface seems like a basic concept but obviously has something that has attracted attention from a variety of companies and big-name actors.

    Now, word arrives that Jennifer Lawrence has agreed to star in and produce the eventual movie via her Excellent Cadaver company.

    We also know that Apple Original Films will be the studio getting it made alongside producers Chernin Entertainment.

    What’s the story of ‘One Month Mark’?

    Here’s the official logline for the screenplay: “She has never made it past a month in a relationship. He has never gone longer than a month without one.”

    Now we wait and see who takes up the challenge of directing it.

    Most recently seen in ‘Die My Love,’ Lawrence has worked on the new Martin Scorsese horror drama ‘What Happens at Night’ opposite Leonardo DiCaprio, is developing a Miss Piggy/Muppets movie and is rumored to be showing up in the latest ‘Hunger Games’ prequel, ‘Sunrise on the Reaping,’ reprising her iconic Katniss Everdeen character.
