Another Jurassic World movie is on the way, with Jurassic Park‘s screenwriter is penning the script. Serving as an adaptation of Michael Crichton’s novel, Steven Spielberg’s seminal 1993 movie started a hit franchise that included two direct sequels and a soft reboot in the form of the first Jurassic World movie in 2015. The release of Jurassic World Dominion, the sixth film in the larger saga, in 2022 seemingly brought the franchise to a close.
Now, THR reports that another Jurassic World movie is in the works at Universal. While details on the project remain hard to come by, David Koepp, the screenwriter responsible for the original Jurassic Park and its direct sequel, is said to be making good progress on a script for the film. According to the report, a 2025 release date for the film is not out of the question.
More to come…
