Although Claim to Fame has not been renewed for season 2 yet, the show has put out a casting call, which gives some insight into how people are cast on the show. Claim to Fame, hosted by Frankie and Kevin Jonas, was the ultimate guessing game. On the show, 12 lesser-known celebrity relatives tried to uncover each other’s identities, while keeping their own a secret.
The Claim to Fame contestants competed in challenges to win clues and formed alliances to keep themselves safe. Even Frankie and Kevin were in the dark about the contestants’ true identities, although some were revealed to the audience throughout the season. In the end, Claim to Fame contestant L.C. won the game and took home the $100,000 grand prize. She was revealed to be Keke Palmer’s older sister, Loreal Chanel Palmer.
L.C. was joined in the finale by runner-up Logan (Jason Aldean’s cousin) and third place finisher Pepper (Dean Martin’s granddaughter). The other contestants who competed on Claim to Fame season 1 were Lark (Cindy Crawford’s niece), Louise (Simone Biles’ younger sister Adria ), Amara (Whoopi Goldberg’s granddaughter), Kai (Tiffany Haddish’s half-sister Jasmine English), Dominique (Al Sharpton’s daughter), Brittany (Brett Favre’s daughter), X (Laverne Cox’s twin brother M Lamar), Michael (Zendaya’s cousin Cubb Coleman), and Maxwell (Chuck Norris’ grandson). Now the show is looking for Claim to Fame season 2 contestants with an application that they can fill out online.

They must not have been convicted of a felony in the past 10 years, unless it was expunged. They should not be candidates for political or public office, and must agree that, if they are selected, they will not become one until at least one year after the initial broadcast of the final episode of the program. Claim to Fame Personal Information
The Claim to Fame application asks for personal information including the possible contestant’s first and last names, the name of the celebrity they are related to and their relationship to that celebrity, their email address, phone number, city, state, current relationship status, and Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok profiles. It also asks the aspiring contestant to provide a head-to-toe photograph.
Claim to Fame Viewing Questions
The form then asks the applicant to provide some information about their experience with watching Claim to Fame season 1. If they watched the first season, they are asked which contestant they identified with the most. They are also asked to describe whose gameplay they respected and why.
Claim to Fame Celebrity Relative Questions
Claim to Fame asks the applicants to describe their relationship with their celebrity relative, including their closeness, how often they see each other, and their best memory with them. The applicant must also describe what their lifestyle is like compared to their famous relative, and whether they have ever tried to pursue the same career as them. It also asks what they would like to be known for if they were famous like their relative. Potential Claim to Fame contestants must describe how their personality is similar to or different from their celebrity relative, and other similarities (i.e. looks, talent, voice, mannerisms, etc.) that they share with them. The application also asks the potential contestants about the perks and downfalls of being related to someone famous.
Claim to Fame Strategy Questions
One of the most important aspects of playing Claim to Fame is having a game strategy. The application asks why the possible contestant is excited about being on the show and whether they will be good at keeping their celebrity relative a secret. It also asks if people tell them that they remind them of their celebrity relative. The form requires the applicant to consider whether they would be good at guessing the identities of other famous relatives. The potential contestants must describe how competitive they are and what their Claim to Fame strategy would be (i.e. forming alliances, making up a different life backstory, etc.). The application also asks if the aspiring contestant has ever been on television before.
Claim to Fame was an entertaining summer show that challenged the contestants and intrigued the audience. If the show is renewed for season 2, it has the potential to be a massive hit. The application for the show gives insights into how the show casts its contestants and what they are looking for. It will be exciting to see who participates in the next season of Claim to Fame.
