The final episodes of Firefly Lane are now streaming on Netflix. Firefly Lane is a drama TV series based on the novel of the same name by Kristin Hannah and starring Katherine Heigl and Sarah Chalke. As Kate (Chalke) deals with the aftermath of Johnny’s ill-fated trip to Iraq, Tully (Heigl) faces a lawsuit after walking away from her talk show and has to start her career over from the bottom. Meanwhile, in the 1970s, the friendship between teenage Kate and Tully goes through a rough patch as Cloud goes to jail and Tully goes to live with her grandmother, far away from Firefly Lane.
Sweet Tooth – season 2
The fantasy drama TV series Sweet Tooth is back with its second season. Based on the comic book of the same name by Jeff Lemire, Sweet Tooth is set in a fictional world where a virus has killed the majority of the world’s human population, leading to the emergence of hybrid babies who are part human and part animal. Gus (Christian Convery) is a 10-year-old half-human, half-deer boy who sets out to find his mother after his father’s death. Now, as a deadly new wave of the Sick approaches, Gus and his fellow hybrids are taken prisoner by General Abbot (Neil Sandilands) and the Last Men, as Abbot uses the children as fodder for the experiments to find a cure. In order to save his friends, Gus will have to find new strength, as he will also uncover the origins of the Great Crumble.
