Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign‘s ‘Vultures 2’ listening party in South Korea is currently underway, and West made a dramatic entrance on horseback. Check it out below.

West and Ty Dolla $ign took their ‘Vultures’ listening experience to Goyang Stadium today (August 23), following the release of their collaborative album, ‘Vultures 1’, on February 10, and ‘Vultures 2’ on August 4 – months after its original planned release date in March.

The event was announced earlier this month in an Instagram post from Ty Dolla $ign, alongside a similar experience in Salt Lake City which took place on August 9, and another in Taiwan scheduled for Sunday (August 25).

West made sure his entrance to the 41,311-capacity stadium was memorable, arriving on the back of a white horse. Check it out below.

Elsewhere in the event, the rapper started a “Fuck Adidas” chant, presumably in reference to the company ending their partnership with him following his antisemitic tweets in 2022.

The tweets also saw West be dropped by his lawyer, talent agency and record label, and lose his partnership with Balenciaga and Adidas, resulting in him losing billionaire status.

As well as new tracks, West played a handful of his oldest hits — even dedicating his performance of ‘I Wonder’ from his 2007 album ‘Graduation’ to Drake.

A handful of K-pop stars were also in attendance, with singers Minzy and KL spotted by fans in the crowd, alongside Minji, Hanni and Dannielle from NewJeans.

West and Ty Dolla $ign dropped ‘Vultures 2’ – the second instalment of their ‘Vultures’ collaborative album trilogy – five months later than originally planned. It was originally thought to top the Billboard 200 chart, but Taylor Swift‘s most recent album – ‘The Tortured Poet’s Department’ – blocked him from the top spot, ending his 19-year-long streak of having his album debut at Number One.

The duo put out ‘Vultures 1’ – which NME said was “far from one of his best efforts either” and “mired in misogyny” – back in February. It had features from Freddie Gibbs, YG, Playboi Carti, Travis Scott, West’s daughter North and more.

Since being released, ‘Vultures 2’ has drawn a mixed response from fans and critics alike, and has also drawn heat from Geoff Barrow, who suggested that the two rappers sampled Portishead on a ‘Vultures 2’ track without permission.

The Beak> member posted a clip of ‘Field Trip’ – which features Don Toliver, Kodak Black and Playboi Carti – as well as reportedly sampling Portishead’s ‘Machine Gun’ on X/Twitter.

“FFS. Not again”, he wrote, seemingly referring to another time a song was taken without permission. “Why can’t he write his own beats?”

The initial ‘Vultures’ album also ran into a similar issue regarding alleged copyright infringement, with West and Donna Summer‘s estate reaching a settlement over the alleged “illegal” use of ‘I Feel Love’ on ‘Vultures 1’.

Ozzy Osbourne also threatened legal action over an unauthorised Black Sabbath sample.

Meanwhile, West and his wife Bianca Censori were recently seen at a Donald Trump rally in Beverly Hills.
