World-renowned scientific thinker and author Howard Bloom will appear at The Global Language Reads Bookstore in Port Jefferson for a special live event on Friday, July 12th at 6:00 PM, where he will discuss his provocative new book, The Case of the Sexual Cosmos: Everything You Know About Nature Is Wrong.

Described by Britain’s Channel 4 TV as “the Einstein, Newton, Darwin, and Freud of the 21st century,” Bloom is widely respected for his boundary-pushing ideas that challenge mainstream scientific and cultural narratives. In The Case of the Sexual Cosmos, Bloom invites readers to rethink everything they believe about nature, biology, and the fundamental forces that drive life and evolution.

This exclusive event will include a live conversation with Bloom, an audience Q&A, and a book signing. Additionally, GLR owner and cultural interviewer Catarina Cunha will host a live internet broadcast interview with Bloom during the event, offering both in-person and virtual audiences a rare opportunity to witness this compelling exchange of ideas.

“This isn’t just a book event,” says Cunha. “It’s a moment to question assumptions and expand how we understand the natural world. Howard Bloom is a visionary who doesn’t just inform—he transforms.”
