Alongside some familiar titles, like Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir and Theo of Golden by Allen Levi, we also have a handful of brand-new books hitting the bestseller lists this week. It’s Not Easy Being a Bunny by Marilyn Sadler is standing in for a ton of different Easter and springtime kids’ books that are scattered across the lists this month.

We also have some sequels and new releases from fan favorite authors this week, like Game On by Navessa Allen, which is the third book in the dark romance series that began with Lights Out. Another highly anticipated threequel making its debut on this list is The Keeper by Tana French, the final book in the Cal Hooper mystery trilogy.

This list continues to lack of diversity on many levels, including being disproportionately by white authors. Some other bestsellers you should know about are Kin by Tayari Jones (Indie Bestsellers), The Lion Women of Tehran by Marjan Kamali (Indie Bestsellers), Black Out Loud: The Revolutionary History of Black Comedy from Vaudeville to ’90s Sitcoms by Geoff Bennett (USA Today).

To get these numbers, we look at the New York Times, both Combined Print & E-Book Fiction and Combined Print & E-Book Nonfiction lists; Amazon Charts, both Fiction and Nonfiction; Publishers Weekly; USA Today; and Indie Bestsellers, Fiction and Nonfiction, both Paperback and Hardcover.
