THE AMERICAN RELICS: Nostalgia in Reverse

“Memory believes before knowing remembers”… William Faulkner

The times you live through, the people you shared those times with, nothing brings it all to life better than music as it stores up memories that can add up to a life story. It is a way to find peace in what we’ve accomplished, tucking it away in a mental scrapbook. However today is tomorrow’s nostalgia and the music of THE AMERICAN RELICS covers it all.

Taking musical influences from the past, the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s the fraction creates a pathway to the present and the future. Band members include Front man John Gitano who plays lead guitar, sings lead vocals, and writes most of the songs. Neal Lazar also plays lead guitar and is the executive producer of the band. Adrienne Dugger is a world-famous opera singer turned rock star whose harmony elevates their vocal soundscape. Nelson Montana is a multi-instrumentalist who plays bass for the band and sings back-up. Patty Jarman plays acoustic guitar and adds her beautiful vocals to the mix. Drummer Josh Salant is the youngest member of the band and adds his sunny, fun-loving attitude along with his musical talent to the group. All of the members are class A musicians in their own right who share the joy of the music of times gone by.

The band has had great success this year both in their music video releases including their signature songs, “My Impala” and “The Eyes of 1969.” They have celebrated radio play on KISS FM stations as well as signing with Tribeca Records. They have also enjoyed two nearly sold out performances at the trendy nightspot Chelsea Table & Stage located in the pulse of NYC and are going back by popular demand for a third show at Chelsea T & S on September 6, 2024 at 7:00 PM. The club is located at 152 West 26th Street inside the Hilton Hotel and tickets are set to go on sale momentarily. Watch for other dates in the New York area shortly as well.
