Amazon Prime Video Will Beam ‘Night Sky’ Into Space, Marks World’s First Intergalactic Premiere for TV Show

Amazon Prime Video Night Sky Show Beam Space
Amazon Prime Video and Amazon Web Services (AWS) have teamed up to beam ‘Night Sky’ into space, marking the first ever intergalactic premiere for a TV show. How is this possible? The company will leverage Intelsat and AWS modernized cloud infrastructures to securely receive a pre-release of the first episode before the former’s ground stations as well as geostationary satellite fleets beam a 360-degree broadcast of the show’s first episode into space.

Broadcast signals transmitted by ground stations are typically received and sent back by the satellites orbiting Earth, but this one will continue to travel to the outer reaches of the galaxy, or basically anyone open to receiving satellite signals 384,000 kilometers away from Earth. This broadcast will occur in both Ku- and C-band, which are common frequencies for satellite TV, media distribution, as well as communications. As for us, we’d be satisfied beaming the show onto a wall using the coffee cup-inspired ASUS ZenBeam Latte L1.
