Taylor Swift has reportedly been making suggestions for football plays for Travis Kelce.
The singer and Kansas City Chiefs player seem to have been together since last year, with their relationship drawing massive media attention since going public. Already, Swift has been spotted attending multiple NFL games in the last season, and Kelce has been supporting her on her record-breaking ‘Eras’ tour.
Now, the US footballer – who plays as the tight end – has revealed that the pop star has learned so much about the sport that she actually helps make suggestions for tactics during play.
Appearing on The Rich Eisen Show as part of a new interview, Kelce said: “She had just been so open to learning the game. She didn’t know much about the rules and everything.”
“I think what makes her so good in her profession is that she’s so detailed in every aspect of it, from the words to her music and even the releases and the music videos and everything,” he added. “She’s just so detailed and a part of it, that I think she was just curious about the profession. I know none of the plays have gotten to Coach [Andy] Reid yet. If they ever do, I’ll let everyone know it was her creation.
“She’s a little biased and just creates plays for me.”

While appearing with Swift on tour, Kelce appeared on stage in the final act of her ‘Tortured Poets’ era, and would carry her across the stage before laying her on the sofa. It first took place during a rendition of ‘I Can Do It With a Broken Heart’ in London.
Recalling how the idea arose, he told the outlet: “Taylor knew that when the lights are on, I’m just going to have some fun. She put me in a position to which I didn’t have to do much to be a success.”
“I was just there not to screw anything up. I just didn’t want to drop there when I was on the stage. That would have been the most embarrassing thing I’ve ever done,” he added. “I’m always down to have some fun onstage with Tay Tay.”
In other news around the couple, earlier this summer it was reported that a romcom inspired by Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s relationship was reportedly in the works. According to Entertainment Weekly, production is to begin in Kansas City, Missouri, with some filming set to take place at the Arrowhead Stadium, home of the Chiefs and venue for Swift’s Missouri slot on July 7 – 8 2023. It’ll reportedly be called Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story.
As for her live shows, now that her London gigs are done, Swift will head back to North America this autumn and end her mammoth ‘Eras Tour’ in Vancouver, Canada in early December.
