Single Review: Irene Michaels “My Last Love”

“My Last Love” co-written, recorded and released by Chicago singer/songwriter Irene Michaels is a delicious disco dance ditty dedicated to her husband Arny. The song is both timeless and timely with a message resonating for people of all ages. While often love songs are either written by a man praising a woman or by a woman complaining about a man…it is evident that Irene isn’t complaining. Her song is a spirited ode to love with a glistening aura of sound.

Irene Michaels vocals have the ambiance of a relaxed cocktail lounge, with a sweet scent, soft lighting and a pleasant and soothing atmosphere. Her soundscape is inviting and clear with a sound distinctly unique to Irene. Love is a tenacious adventure. There will always be a place where Love will find a voice even in silence.

Irene has lived her life in the entertainment industry. She is an actress having roles in the hit soap opera General Hospital, and movies including Home Alone 2, Mahogany, Married to the Mob and more. She has penned a book, is a major influencer in the world of lifestyle luxury, a model, a dancer, and an award-winning equestrian. Last year her hit song “I Like Rain”  earned her the Josie Music Award for Pop Single Song of the Year, and she was named House Music Artist of the Year by  Get Out Magazine, along with being  considered for a Grammy with her cover of “What the World Needs Now.”

Irene pursues the things she loves, music, songwriting, performing live… and then does them so well so that people can’t take their eyes off her…..
