    • Ryan Reynolds says there will “eventually” be another ‘Deadpool’ movie.
    • He didn’t specify when.
    • Reynolds showed up at this weekend’s Comic-Con to crash the Marvel panel.

Anyone who saw the news about the Marvel panel at this past weekend’s San Diego Comic-Con knows that Ryan Reynolds showed up in a denim Deadpool costume to effectively crash the event and beg for a role in ‘Avengers: Doomsday.’

While it appears he was unsuccessful (though a surprise cameo from the Merc With a Mouth is not out of the question), the star of the huge hit ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ has been talking up the possibility of more movies featuring the wise-cracking comic book character.

    Deadpool & Wolverine

    Release Date: Jul 26, 2024

Run Time: 2 hr 8 min

    Budget: $200,000,000

According to Reynolds himself (more on that below), we should eventually see more Deadpool on our screens, even as previously before he’s said he’s not looking to center the character.

Here’s what Reynolds recently had to say at a recent panel at Fanatics Fest:

“There’s a few really deep cuts that I think are missing from the movies. I think there’s a few deep cuts missing from some of the comics. There’s certainly some stuff that I love that [Deadpool co-creator] Fabian [Nicieza] wrote that is incredible [and] Gerry Duggan, another friend and incredible comic writer, that we can put in. But then there’s stuff upcoming. There’s eventually, you know, remotely another ‘Deadpool’ film. So it’s going to be great.”

Where else can we see Ryan Reynolds?

Reynolds was most recently back on screens in Season 5 of soccer docu-series ‘Welcome to Wrexham,’ and returns to the movie world with Apple Original ‘Mayday,’ due via Apple TV on September 4.
