Russo Brothers’ AGBO Partners With SXSW London

SXSW London is making a major addition to its 2026 program: a partnership with AGBO, the independent studio founded by the Russo brothers.

As part of the partnership, AGBO will bring “its cross-medium approach to storytelling across film, television, gaming, and immersive experiences,” the fest has said. The announcement comes as Anthony and Joe Russo are in post-production on Marvel’s Avengers: Doomsday, one of the year’s most anticipated films.

Taking place June 1-6, SXSW London — in its second year — will transform Shoreditch into a hub for premieres, emerging voices, and creators redefining how stories are told, with AGBO integrated across the Conference and Screen Festival. This will include appearances from the Russos and Donald Mustard, former chief creative officer at Epic Games and now partner at AGBO.

AGBO’s credits include Everything Everywhere All at Once, Extraction, The Gray Man, and the global Citadel franchise, with season two premiering in May. Most recently, The Bluff debuted as the number-one film worldwide on Prime Video. The Russo Brothers and AGBO have generated more than $7 billion at the global box office, including Avengers: Endgame.

Upcoming projects include Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars, now in pre-production. The studio is also in post-production on TYGO, starring Don Lee and Lalisa Manobal (Blackpink); Mercenary, starring Omar Sy and set within the Extraction universe; The Whisper Man, starring Robert De Niro, Michelle Monaghan, and Adam Scott; and John Rambo, with Sylvester Stallone serving as an executive producer. Production is set to begin this summer on Extraction 3, starring Chris Hemsworth alongside Idris Elba and Golshifteh Farahani.

The company’s chief creative officer, Angela Russo-Otstot, said: “AGBO was founded on the belief that storytelling today is no longer confined to a single medium — it’s expansive, interconnected, and constantly evolving. SXSW London represents exactly the kind of global platform where those ideas can come to life. The U.K. has long been a driving force in the arts, technology, and gaming, we’re excited to explore how storytelling is evolving across disciplines and to engage with a new generation of creators shaping what comes next.”

Neon’s Tom Quinn, actress Sophia Bush, and YouTuber Markiplier are among the guests set to speak at the event. Take a look at the list of announced speakers.
