Randy Edelman Triumphs at the BroadwayWorld Awards with Original Song and Best Solo Performance of the Year at Carnegie Hall

Keeping pace with the dance of time itself Composer Randy Edelman has triumphed in the Broadway World Awards once again for 2025. This years honors are for Best Solo Performance at Carnegie Hall and for Best Original Song. A tribute well deserved for an artist whose defining virtue is his music second only to his integrity.

The Broadway World Awards are considered to be one of the largest theatre honors, the winner selected by public voting from fans and peers. It recognizes excellence in theater, including productions, companies, and artists outside the Broadway mainstream. This Edelman’s second victorious year in a row winning the Broadway World Awards.

Edelman’s solo Carnegie Hall performances December 2024 and again December 2025 sparked a musical cascade of fireworks setting the evening ablaze and shattering the nights hold, prompting the unruly actions of the human heart.

His original song “21 Again” off his latest album “Waltzing On A High Wire” is one very personal to him. He first performed the song during his Lincoln Center concert last June 2025.

Edelman is an acclaimed composer, songwriter, and conductor whose work spans film, television, pop music, and the concert stage. He is best known for his iconic film scores for Gettysburg, Dragonheart, The Mask,Last of the Mohicans, MacGyver and over 100 others.  With a career that bridges cinematic grandeur and intimate songwriting, Edelman’s music is recognized for its emotional depth, melodic power, and lasting cultural impact across generations.
