Publisher MIKE TODD Celebrates This Year’s Get Out Awards Monday March 3rd @ The Dickens

Michael Todd is the publisher and founder of New York’s leading LGBTQ+ magazine, and number 7 worldwide for over 15 years. The publication is beautifully crafted in print, now twice a month and also has a striking online presence. Each year the Magazine recognizes those in the nightlife community for its contributions, events, music, and the things that keep the LGBTQ+ community vibrant and ever colorful and flamboyant.

This year the award ceremonies will be at The Dickens (783 8th Avenue) on the 3rd floor on Monday March 3rd beginning at 8 PM. This year’s host is the iconic Queen Ariel Sinclair and Kimmi Moore will co-host. Legendary DJ Stevie Sidewalk will be spinning for the event. Entertainers include: House music recording artist Irene Michaels Ft. Twizm Whyte Piece,  President of TRAX House label Screamin’ Rachael, cabaret queen Quinn Lemley, Eiby Leandra, Jizzabell,  Bootsie LaFaris, Morgan Royal and Imperial Court of New York Emperor Jeffrey Blanc-Feld and Empress Ruby Starling. He decided to publish a Gay magazine and somehow successfully succeeded. He still physically delivers the free magazines to every LGBTQ+ hotspot  in the city and the boroughs by himself. The illustrious editor is none other than famous columnist, TV personality, actor, and many other things Michael Musto.

Through the years the magazine has had the honor of interviewing top artists and celebrities including: Diana Ross, Boy George, Annie Lennox, Taylor Dayne, Debbie Gibson, Emma Stone, LeAnn Rimes, RuPaul, Brooke Shields, Zendaya, Sandra Bernhard, Bianca Del Rio, Dionne Warwick, Fred Schneider, Cyndi Lauper, Toni Braxton, Michael Musto, Diane Warren, Desmond Child, Belinda Carlisle, David Johansen, Leon, Melba Moore, Joey McIntyre, Frankie Grande, Kristin Chenoweth, Jennifer Nettles, Jane Lynch, Melissa Etheridge, Rick Springfield, Lizzo, Joy Behar, Margaret Cho, Colin Hays, Michelle Visage, and too many others to mention. However, Get Out also interviews New York local bar owners, DJs, Gogo Boys, promoters, and nearly every facet of the Gay community.

The evening will be filled with color and texture, laughter, song, excitement and awesome people. Join Mike Todd for a wild night to remember ….the event is free.
