    Ocean Colour Scene announce 2025 UK tour with Kula Shaker

    Ocean Colour Scene have announced a 2025 UK headline tour with Kula Shaker – you can find all the details below.

    The Britpop band – best known for their hit ’90s singles ‘The Riverboat Song’ and ‘The Day We Caught The Train’ – are due to hit the road next spring for a run of headline performances.

    Kicking off in Leeds on March 27, the forthcoming trek will also include shows in Birmingham, Sheffield, London, Manchester, Glasgow, Liverpool, Dublin and other locations until late April.

    Kula Shaker are set to open for OCS on select dates of the tour, and are billed as “very special guests”.

    Tickets go on general sale at 10am BST next Friday (October 4) – you’ll be able to buy yours here. Alternatively, fans can access pre-sale tickets at the same time on Wednesday (2) by signing up here.

    In a statement, Kula Shaker said: “We go way back with OCS – great musicians and even better friends. Some of our earliest gigs were with them, including shows at the Splash Club in London before Kula Shaker were signed.”

    Ocean Colour Scene’s 10th and most recent studio album, ‘Painting’, was released in 2013. Kula Shaker’s seventh and latest studio effort, ‘Natural Magick’, came out in February of this year.

    This summer, OCS performed on the Acoustic Stage at Glastonbury 2024. They also appeared on the bill at this year’s edition of the Edinburgh Summer Sessions, and made various stop-offs elsewhere in the UK.
