Following the 2023 event, celebrities returned en masse to New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art for the annual Met Gala. The fundraiser’s dress code this year is “The Garden of Time,” which has led to many botanical interpretations from a bevy of celebrities, including musicians, actors, and designers.

The 2024 Met Gala celebrates the Costume Institute’s new exhibition, “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion,” which includes 250 garments and accessories spanning four centuries in order to “examine the cyclical themes of rebirth and renewal,” per the museum. Guests at the Met Gala this year include Ariana Grande, Awkwafina, Aya Nakamura, Cardi B, Charli XCX, Doja Cat, Donald Glover, Dua Lipa, Ed Sheeran, Erykah Badu, FKA twigs, Jack Harlow, Janelle Monáe, Blackpink’s Jennie, Jon Batiste, Karol G, Kylie Minogue, Lana Del Rey, Leon Bridges, Lil Nas X, Little Simz, Lizzo, Omar Apollo, Rauw Alejandro, Sabrina Carpenter, Sam Smith, Shakira, Troye Sivan, Tyla, and many more.

Bad Bunny, Jennifer Lopez, Zendaya, and Chris Hemsworth joined Anna Wintour as co-chairs for this year’s gala. Check out a gallery of photos from the event below, updated with new arrivals.
