It was the WorldPride Amsterdam appearance heard ’round the world: Kylie Minogue strutting onstage to join Madonna during her “Club Confessions” set to perform a new duet. The two veteran divas have now officially released that song, a Minogue remix of Madonna’s Confessions II track “Love Sensation.” (Balking at the track’s six-minute runtime? Madonna’s WorldPride show two unexpected places Minogue popped up in over the weekend, the second being at Nick Cave’s hometown concert in Brighton. Although such a formidable link-up only comes along so often, Madonna and Minogue have, in fact, collaborated before—they covered Gloria Gaynor’s “I Will Survive” at the Los Angeles stop of Madonna’s 2024 Celebration Tour. Minogue’s most recent solo album Tension—featuring the runaway hit “Padam Padam”—came out in 2023.
