Earlier this week, Gaga was seen filming a special performance with American football legend Tom Brady at Bourbon Street in New Orleans. Today (February 10), that performance has been revealed as a tribute performance to New Orleans, which faced a deadly terrorist attack on New Year’s day leaving 14 dead.

The pre-taped performance was aired ahead of the 2025 Super Bowl game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles. For the tribute segment, Tom Brady walked down the streets of New Orleans accompanied by a swath of local first responders.

For the performance, Gaga performed ‘Hold My Hand’, her hit song off the Top Gun: Maverick soundtrack, during which she played the piano and was backed by a local jazz band.

Check out clips of the performance below.

Gaga’s tribute comes ahead of Jon Batiste performing the National Anthem at the game and Kendrick Lamar‘s highly anticipated Halftime Show performance with SZA.

As for Gaga, the tribute performance followed her ‘California Dreamin” performance with Bruno Mars at the Grammy Awards last week. The pair also won best Pop Duo Performance for ‘Die With A Smile’. Later on in the night, Lady Gaga premiered her latest single, ‘Abracadabra’.

She is set to release her highly anticipated seventh studio album ‘Mayhem’, due for release on March 7.
