A radio host dubs Teresa Giudice as the “rudest” guest he’s interviewed after his chat with The Real Housewives of New Jersey star goes downhill.
Teresa Giudice is being called out by a Boston radio host who thinks The Real Housewives of New Jersey star is the “rudest” guest he’s ever interviewed. Teresa has been making press appearances to promote her new Namaste B****es podcast and tease all the drama coming in RHONJ season 13. Teresa is in a deep family feud with her brother and sister-in-law Joe and Melissa Gorga after the pair skipped out on attending her wedding. Fans are already siding with Teresa and accusing Joe and Melissa of speaking negatively about the OG behind her back.
But it wasn’t the family drama that caused Teresa’s latest interview to go left. Boston radio personality Billy Costa blasted Teresa after she allegedly “attacked” him during a live interview on Monday. “She was easily, hands down, the rudest person I’ve ever interviewed,” Billy said on his Billy & Lisa in the Morning show. Teresa appeared on the morning show to promote an event she was hosting in Lily, Massachusetts. However, things took a turn for the worse after he asked Teresa about her 2015 book Turning the Tables about her time in prison. “Teresa, we know you spent some time in prison, but you came out of prison and wrote a book—a bestseller—about your time in prison, and did it focus a lot on the food in prison?” Billy asked the OG housewife.
RHONJ’s Teresa Giudice Doesn’t ‘Want To Talk About’ Prison
However, Teresa told the host that she didn’t “want to talk about that,” before reminding him about her success as an author. “I don’t know if you know this, but I’m a four-time New York Times bestselling author,” she quipped. She wasn’t done ranting. “[We’re going to] have a good time, and it’s all about being positive, right? And not negative? You should learn some of that,” she scolded Billy. That’s when his co-host Justin Aguirre told Teresa that they weren’t trying to be “negative” and were only referencing the accolades mentioned in her bio that Teresa’s publicist sent them. But the response wasn’t enough for the Bravo star. “I have a podcast called Namaste B****es, [and] you should listen to it and learn how to be a little more namaste,” Teresa quipped.
Teresa is often praised by RHONJ fans and fellow reality stars for being very nice in person and offscreen. But apparently, referencing a book she wrote about her time in prison is where she draws the line. It was also probably too early in the morning for the OG housewife to be in the mood to tackle her time behind bars. Teresa spent 11 months in prison on fraud charges in 2011. Following her release, her then-husband Joe Giudice went to prison to complete his 41-month sentence on various fraud charges.
To date, Teresa remains the only housewife to ever complete a prison sentence and return to the show. The Real Housewives of New Jersey followed her journey of going back and forth to court before being sent to prison. Her return home was an emotional one, with Teresa’s daughters running to greet her upon her arrival home. The moment was somber, with the family knowing Joe would be entering prison soon after. Joe spent another seven months in an ICE detention center upon his prison release before he was deported to Italy. Joe now lives in the Bahamas, where Teresa’s daughters often go to visit him. Joe has shown his support for Teresa marrying Luis Ruelas. Just don’t remind Teresa about her time in prison.
