Players looking for Echoes of Memory in Bayonetta 3 will be able to get the Bowl-Off Archive by using a Congestus enemy ability to manipulate time.
One of the many collectible items that players will be able to find in Bayonetta 3 is the Echoes of Memory, some of which can be pretty elusive, such as the Bowl-Off Archive. These collectible items are one of the seven types in the game and will provide players with insight into Bayonetta‘s world and backstory and how she came to find herself in her present situation. These items are spread throughout the campaign, hidden in its many levels, and can usually be found in hard-to-reach platforms or behind breakable walls.
Echoes of Memory appear in the game as little black books floating in the air inside a transparent sphere and can be collected by simply walking over them. The Bayonetta series storyline can get pretty convoluted, especially with this latest entry. As such, these echoes will provide players with valuable information they can use to piece together the lore behind it. Players can access unlocked lore by pausing Bayonetta 3 during gameplay and using ‘R’ to navigate to the lore tab.
Bowl-Off Archive Echo of Memory’s Location in Bayonetta 3
According to SegmentNext, The Bowl-Off Archive echo can be found very early in the game, as players reach Tokyo in Verse 7 of Chapter 1. After defeating some enemies and becoming able to roam freely in the streets of Tokyo, players should head straight ahead until they see a building with the letter P on the front. From there, head down the alley to its right to find a Congestus enemy, which will revert time and turn the protagonist into a powerless child. To defeat this enemy, players must get as close as they can to it to push it over and deactivate it. After doing that, players will once again become a powerful witch and will be able to use this enemy to manipulate time in this location.
Using this power in Bayonetta 3, players will be able to “rebuild” the nearby destroyed building, but before doing so, they must use the time-frozen rubble to climb to the top. To do this, players must halt the process of reverting time halfway through in order to form a staircase to the top. After letting go of the Congestus, players will have a strict time limit to make it to the roof and will have to do so with the young version of Cereza. As players use a combination of jumps and wall jumps to climb the rubble, they should see the little black book near the top, which they can collect to get the Bowl-Off Archive Echo of Memory in Bayonetta 3.
