Days of Our Lives Spoilers For The Week of 6-23-25 Include An Arrest For EJ’s Shooting, But Not Until After Some Well-Deserved Happiness

Days of Our Lives Spoilers For The Week of 6-23-25 Include An Arrest For EJ’s Shooting, But Not Until After Some Well-Deserved Happiness

The first rule of life in Salem is that whoever the police arrest for a serious crime is innocent… at least the first five or six times.

Days of our Lives spoilers for the week of 6-23-25 promise that Rachel’s secret will come out, resulting in Johnny getting arrested for trying to kill EJ.

Fortunately, the legal drama won’t happen until after Andrew and Paul’s wedding, which will give us all a much-needed break from the heaviness of John’s death.

Andrew and Paul’s Wedding May Be Rushed, But At Least It’s A Happy Occasion

I’d be more excited for the wedding if the grooms had been on-screen more consistently in the lead-up.

They popped up in Salem after a long absence to help say goodbye to John, originally planning to have their wedding once he recovered and was out of the hospital.

John’s gone, which will put somewhat of a damper on their wedding, but at least the couple is likely to actually tie the knot.

Days of Our Lives loves derailed wedding stories, and it’s rare that a wedding goes off without a significant hitch.

Still, this one should, if for no other reason than everyone needs some joy right now.

The three-week-long tribute to John was beautiful, but it took its toll on both the audience and the characters.

It didn’t end with John’s funeral, either.

    I’m not complaining.

It wouldn’t be realistic if John died and everything went back to normal the next day, especially since in real life, Drake Hogestyn passed away a day or two after the funeral scenes were filmed.

Still, we’ve had scene after scene of Marlena’s grief and everyone else’s condolences, and we need something happy to offset it.

Plus, Shane is not in Salem often these days, and his son’s wedding gives him an excuse to stick around for a bit.

Still, I wish Andrew and Paul were staying in Salem. I’d love for them to be the newest gay supercouple since Will and Sonny are gone.

Leo and Javi are still in town, of course, but it’s not the same as having a legacy character and his husband continuing Salem traditions.

What’s the Deal With Shane And Cat?

Cat has not been a very interesting character so far, but her connection to Shane changes that somewhat.

She knows him as the ISA Director. It can’t be overstated how significant that is.

The ISA is supposed to be a secret organization, so random people shouldn’t know he’s the director.

Of course, this is Salem, where half the town is in the ISA and everyone talks about their secrets in the middle of the town square, so Cat’s knowledge doesn’t necessarily mean anything.

Still, Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of 6-23-25 say that Shane forces Cat’s hand, and I’d love to know what that means.

Cat obviously has worked for the ISA in some capacity. Was she trying to get Clyde?

Is this the beginning of some bizarre story about how Cat really is Abigail after all?

I’m not sure what the purpose of such a story would be since Chad is leaving Salem soon, and the idea that Cat pretended to be Abigail while secretly really being Abigail makes me want to puke.

Still, I have a feeling the writers are headed in this direction, so I guess I’d better get used to the idea.

Sorry, Xarah Fans, But Things Are Going To Get Worse Before They Get Better

Sarah and Xander are going to be at each other’s throats. Again.

    (Screenshot/Peacock)

This is the reason I never fully got behind this couple.

It’s always the same thing with these two. Xander shows his true colors sooner or later, Sarah doesn’t like it, and things get ugly.

This time, neither one of them was right. Sarah lied by omission and Xander decided to get violent.

Still, Sarah is the one who should have custody of Victoria if it comes to that.

Xander has a long track record of illegal and violent activity. What judge (other than the idiots who work in Salem) would give him anything more than supervised activity, regardless of his promise not to hurt his daughter?

It probably doesn’t help that Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of 6-23-25 promise Xander threatening Sarah because she’s keeping him from Victoria.

If Sarah were smart, she’d record every one of these conversations and bring them to court.

I don’t know why nobody in Salem ever thinks of doing that. It’s an obvious solution that would lead to fantastic courtroom drama.

Yes, Johnny is Going To Get Arrested… But He’s Probably Innocent

Once Rachel started telling people that she heard Johnny shoot Uncle EJ, it was only a matter of time before someone with the power to arrest Johnny would find out about it.

The Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of 6-23-25 about this are still exciting, though.

Rachel has been tormented by what she thinks she saw for long enough.

Even though this kid can be a spoiled brat, she doesn’t deserve that!

Johnny’s arrest is juicy in so many ways.

It will make Chanel doubt him.

EJ might be angry enough to renege on his agreement to leave Kristen’s mother alone.

And, of course, Johnny will go to jail, whether or not he did anything.

I’m 99.9% sure that Johnny is innocent.

The memory card displayed a different scene than the one we had all seen of EJ dropping his drink.

Plus, if EJ stole the memory card after Johnny left so Johnny wouldn’t be implicated, obviously, someone else shot EJ.

He wouldn’t have been uninjured and hiding the card if he’d actually been shot.

I’m also curious what this has to do with EJ wanting to put Chanel in her place.

She warned him to stay away from Johnny and said that he could consider it a threat.

Would EJ throw his own son under the bus to mess with Chanel’s head, though?

I doubt it. He probably plans to doctor the video to make it look like Chanel did it, but the cops catch up with Johnny before he can.
