Chicago Med Season 10 Episode 2 Spoilers Promise Legal Trouble For Ripley While The Hospital Suffers Growing Pains

Chicago Med Season 10 Episode 2 Spoilers Promise Legal Trouble For Ripley While The Hospital Suffers Growing Pains

Hold on tight, everyone. Chicago Med Season 10 Episode 2 spoilers promise a bumpy ride for all our favorite characters as the hospital adjusts to its new normal.

Ripley’s facing the worst trouble of his career so far when his license is threatened by the Pawel situation, but the one I feel sorry for is Sharon.

According to spoilers, she’ll have to lay some people off, and that’s on top of stopping Archer and Lenox from killing each other.

Chicago Med Season 10 Episode 2 Spoilers Put Ripley On The Hot Seat

The ER Doctor Must Face a Suspension Hearing Because Of The Pawel Situation

The Pawel story isn’t anywhere near over, even though the audience knows Ripley is innocent.

His explanation to Asher might help reverse their split for the sake of drama, but it doesn’t do him much good since the rest of the world doesn’t know what really happened.

Keeping the truth secret is stupid. I get that Ripley wants to protect Scully, but is it worth losing his career over?

Hopefully, this story won’t drag out all season, as it is a dark spot in an otherwise promising beginning to Allen MacDonald’s taking over as showrunner.

There has been no news suggesting that Luke Mitchell is leaving Med, so threatening Ripley’s license is pointless drama; he’ll be back on duty eventually, no matter the outcome.

Archer and Lenox Butt Heads Again

Their Rivalry Comes At The Worst Possible Time

While it’s unsurprising that Archer and Lenox will clash again, this is only going to make Sharon’s job harder.

Chicago Med Season 10 Episode 2 spoilers are mute about what the conflict is about or what any of the medical cases will be this week. All we know so far is that they will again butt heads.

Archer is an old-school doctor. Among other things, he’s having a hard time taking direction from a woman, especially one who is half his age.

He already established his disdain for Lenox on Chicago Med Season 10 Episode 1, and I wouldn’t expect him to change his ways by the second episode.

Still, the hospital has enough problems, with far more patients in need of emergency care than physicians to help them. The last thing Gaffney needs is another argument that Sharon must intervene in during an already stressful time.

Chicago Med Season 10 Episode 2 Spoilers Hint At Medical Cases

Photos Tell A Story, Though We Don’t Know All The Details

Although Chicago Med hasn’t given any more specifics about this week’s medical cases than Allen MacDonald did about the seasons, we can make some educated guesses from the photos.

Archer and Ripley appear to be working on an older man who is in critical condition. Archer spends time with him in the ambulance while Ripley works on him at the hospital.

Of course, if Ripley is suspended, he might have to transfer this patient to someone else in the middle of the case, which he won’t want to do.

That’ll be doubly problematic if the patient has memory or trust issues and doesn’t want to work with anyone else!

Dr. Charles also works with a couple of patients, according to spoiler photos, though it isn’t clear whether he’s working as a psychiatrist or lending an extra hand in the ED to patients who need immediate medical attention.

Some photos show Charles with an older man, though he doesn’t appear to be the same one as Archer and Ripley are working on, and he also sits by the bedside of a younger woman.

Frost Is Ready To Join The Hospital, But Can He?

Chicago Med Season 10 Episode 2 Spoilers Say Sharon Has To Lay People Off

John Frost is my favorite new character, but how can he officially join Gaffney when they’re in the midst of downsizing?

Sharon is supposed to be laying people off, not hiring new ones. This is a problem considering how short-staffed the hospital is and the mass influx of patients they’re expecting from the Jackson closure.

It is what it is, though. She can’t hire new people when she can’t afford the ones she already has on staff. This arc is a great social justice issue story, demonstrating how hard it is to give proper care when there isn’t enough money.

I’m also curious as to who Sharon will lay off and whether we’re losing anyone else important to the story.

We’ve already lost Marcel and Zach, and I really don’t want a mass exodus.

Plus, we know Frost is part of the Chicago Med Season 10 cast, so how will he fit in with all these layoffs?

Could Money Be The Real Reason Zach Was Fired?

Chicago Med Season 10 Episode 2 Spoilers Don’t Say Anything About Him

Zach’s firing doesn’t feel like the end of his story, but spoilers don’t mention him.

He could simply be gone, but I suspect he’ll file a wrongful termination lawsuit or somehow convince Sharon to give him his job back.

I was surprised she agreed to fire him. But given the need for layoffs, I have to wonder if she was planning on letting him go anyway.

Only time will tell if Zach’s story is over. I hope it isn’t because his firing was too shocking and seemed to come out of nowhere.

Over to you, Chicago Med fanatics!

What do you think of these spoilers? Are you excited for the next episode?

Chicago Med airs on NBC on Wednesdays at 8/7c.
