Queens NY based rap artist Ben Bacardi became aware of the colors and textures of rap music. He decided to make some music and then realized it sounded good. A family man, father of two with an already thriving appraisal business, he came to the conclusion that he had a dream worth following. He also battled with depression and anxiety and discovered when making music these symptoms went away.
Ben took his influences from icons including Jay-Z, Biggie, Snoop Dogg, Nas, Wu Tang Clan, Mobb Deep, and a host of others. His first EP was titled “Prescription to Rap.†With sounds inspired from Queen, Madonna, Beck and Duran Duran. He has over 100 recorded songs which more recordings will be released in the near future.
