Bell X1 have announced their live return with an initimate acoustic show in London.
The Irish band have announced a one-off concert at the Union Chapel in Islington on December 19.

Formed in 1999 in Ireland, Paul Noonan, Dave Geraghty and Dominic Phillips have released eight studio albums including their 2000 debut ‘Neither Am I’ with their most recent record being 2023’s ‘Merciful Hour’.
Their other albums include ‘Music In Mouth’ (2003), ‘Flock’ (2005), ‘Tour De Flock’ (2007) ‘Blue Lights On The Runway’ (2009), ‘Bloodless Coup’ (2011), ‘Field Recordings'(2012), ‘Chop Chop’ (2013) and ‘Arms’ (2016).
They last performed live after a series of shows in Ireland at the end of 2024.
Elsewhere as part of Daffodil Day 2025, a fundraiser and awareness initiative by the Irish Cancer Society, Bell X1 recently released a new video for their song ‘Spacewalk‘.
Directed by Anna Eijsbouts, the video was inspired by Glenn Keating, a musician in the band’s live line-up who has been living with cancer for the past five years.
“Glenn is a thoughtful, funny, musically intuitive and gifted dude – who happens to have had the terrible luck of getting cancer,” said frontman Paul Noonan. “Since his diagnosis in 2020 he has continued to be all of these things, and to bring his infectious positive energy to the band, while going through multiple courses of chemotherapy and other treatment.”
The Irish Cancer Society is aiming to raise €30 million (£25.72million) this year in order to achieve a record demand for their services.
“We are incredibly grateful to Bell X1 for their amazing support this year to mark Daffodil Day,” said CEO Averil Power. “We want to be there to provide our free services and supports for every single one of those people.”
Keating is aiming to cycle from Dublin to Galway in May to raise funds for the Irish Cancer Society and Bowel Cancer Awareness Month. Fans can donate here.
