She’s spent years channeling Hollywood’s ultimate Love Goddess — and doing it to perfection. But on June 4, Broadway World’s 2025 Best NYC Vocalist in Cabaret, Quinn Lemley, returns to The Triad Theater (158 West 72nd Street) as herself, and the results are just as electrifying.
Swinging Hot Tomato marks a bold departure from Lemley’s acclaimed portrayal of Rita Hayworth in The Heat Is On! — the show that earned her raves from The New York Times (“dazzling… with one show-stopping number after another”) and The New York Post (“You don’t even have to squint your eyes to see Rita’s in the room”). This time, there are no costumes, no character, no icon to inhabit. Just Quinn Lemley, front and center, bringing the heat on her own terms.

Backed by a sizzling trio or quartet with special guest guitarist David Sexta, Lemley delivers a bold, sultry mix of jazz, blues, and swing drawn from her seven albums — including the February 2025 release Swinging Hot Tomato, the crime-jazz lounge recording that launched this new chapter of her career. The show is pure Quinn: playful, powerhouse, and impossibly cool.
A Grammy®-eligible Recording Academy member, Bistro Award winner, and newly nominated Tribute Artist of the Year at the 12th Annual Josie Music Awards, Lemley has headlined performing arts centers and casinos across North America and served as the iconic face of The Half Note jazz club in Athens, Greece. Her New York residency at The Triad has become one of the city’s most coveted live music experiences.
Swinging Hot Tomato performs at The Triad Theater on Thursday, June 4 at 6:30 PM. Tickets ($40–$55) are available at triadnyc.com and instantseats.com.
