LL Cool J has announced his first new studio album since 2013’s Authentic. The new album, The FORCE (“Frequencies of Real Creative Energyâ€Â), is out September 6 via Def Jam Recordings and Virgin Music Group. Guests on the album include Rick Ross and Fat Joe (on recent single “Saturday Night Specialâ€Â), as well as Eminem, Snoop Dogg, Saweetie, Nas, and more. A Tribe Called Quest’s Q-Tip produced The FORCE. “We’re talking 14 tracks of straight fire, all crafted by myself and the one and only Q-Tip,†LL Cool J said in a press statement. “When you listen to this album, you’re not just hearing music, you’re experiencing a whole new vibe, a whole new level of artistic passion.â€Â
