2026 Golden Globes: Best Unseen Moments

The 2026 Golden Globes captured a plethora of memorable moments during Sunday’s telecast, but there were a few that television cameras missed. As Nikki Glaser hosted and One Battle After Another took home the most awards of the night, The Hollywood Reporter was inside the Beverly Hilton to catch all the dazzling behind-the-scenes action that didn’t make it onto TV.

Snoop Dogg presented the inaugural award for best podcast, and while the moment was indeed captured by cameras, part of what the “Drop It Like It’s Hot” rapper said was cut from the telecast. Never fear, as THR caught the moment when he pronounced, “I’m high as a motherfucker right now. Y’all had me here too damn long,” inside the Beverly Hilton.

A Brief Fire in the Press Room!

Backstage at the 2026 Golden Globes, a coffee holder was knocked off and the sterno underneath was lit. As THR’s Chris Gardner chronicled on X, for a moment, the behind-the-scenes carpet caught fire and smoke trailed above the press curtains. However, the blaze was put out rather quickly.

Glen Powell didn’t get a singular plus one, but a plus two, as his mother and father both attended the Golden Globes with him. During E!’s red-carpet preshow, the actor joked that it was “hard to get a plus two at the Golden Globes, but now they’re staples of the Globes.” And later in the night, THR saw the Powells at the bar.

    Jennifer Lopez Leaves Early

Before the 2026 Golden Globes wrapped and the final awards were handed out, Jennifer Lopez left the ceremony. “My name isn’t Megan…” Laufey told the photographers with a laugh.
